From Saturday, December 9th to Saturday, December 16th, Hongo web3 Valley, a student-led blockchain community originating from the University of Tokyo, will host the \u201cBlockchain Hackathon for Students 2023.\u201d Pacific Meta will participate as a Global Partner during this event. On December 16th, Pacific Meta will take the stage to present the company\u2019s vision and share information about internship opportunities for participating students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background of Becoming Global Partner<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hongo web3 Valley comprises numerous young individuals, primarily students from the University of Tokyo, who are shaping the future of Web3. Pacific Meta has a total of 14 University of Tokyo alumni and current students among its members, with some members also being part of Hongo web3 Valley.
Building on the connection between these two entities as alumni of the University of Tokyo, Pacific Meta has assumed the role of Global Partner for Hongo web3 Valley\u2019s hackathon event. Their aim is to strengthen their collaboration and promote the hackathon event to become one of the world\u2019s leading student Web3 communities and hackathon events.
Specifically, Pacific Meta will leverage its global connections to promote Hongo web3 Valley\u2019s hackathon worldwide, fostering connections between top global projects and Japan\u2019s premier student Web3 community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the hackathon will focus on sustainability, primarily ReFi, DeSci, and regional revitalization. It is designed for students ranging from blockchain beginners to intermediates, offering a foundational blockchain workshop online.
