(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masato Nunome; \u201cKomlock lab\u201d), a company operating in the blockchain and AI agent domain, a wholly owned subsidiary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this transaction, Pacific Meta Group will integrate Komlock lab\u2019s expertise in blockchain development and AI agents to strengthen its technical implementation capabilities for AI agent payments, on-chain value exchange, and stablecoin-based business infrastructure in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Japan, Why Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Japan is one of the world\u2019s largest economies and is entering a new phase in which stablecoins and on-chain payments are moving from concept to regulated implementation. Recent developments include the expansion of USDC access in Japan, the emergence of yen-denominated stablecoins such as JPYC and JPYSC, and stablecoin proof-of-concept initiatives involving major Japanese financial institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, global interest is growing in AI agent payments and Agentic Commerce, where AI agents may support purchasing, payments, value transfer, and asset management.
