We have confirmed that a third party is falsely claiming to represent Pacific Meta on social media, offering side job opportunities and instructing people to open bank accounts, take out loans, and invest in cryptocurrency. We have absolutely no affiliation with such activities.

Example of fraudulent contact:

“This is XX from Pacific Meta. We’d like to introduce a side job opportunity. Please open an account with XX bank, take out a ¥100,000 loan, and invest it in cryptocurrency — repayment is guaranteed.”

We have also received reports of individuals being threatened with cancellation fees after declining. Any such demands are entirely unrelated to Pacific Meta — please do not make any payments.

We are currently investigating this matter and working with relevant authorities to address it.
