▮ Background of the Event
In 2026, the environment surrounding stablecoins in Japan is reaching a critical phase toward full-scale commercial use, against the backdrop of progress in legislative updates, such as the issuance of JPYC, stablecoin issuance led by banks, and the acceleration of collaboration among multiple major financial institutions. On the other hand, there are many points to be discussed toward social implementation, such as clarifying the advantages compared to existing payment methods, organizing constraints in terms of systems and operations, and designing specific use cases. In light of these trends, this event aims to share the latest stablecoin regulations, the outlook for 2026, and domestic and international cases, while providing a venue for interaction among participants and a catalyst for business concepts.
