The conference is the second installment following the highly successful inaugural “Blockchain Summit 2026 by Credit Saison and Pacific Meta” held in February 2026. The event will bring together financial institutions, blockchain companies, and startups from Japan and around the world to discuss the latest developments and business opportunities in blockchain-powered finance.

Background

The inaugural “Blockchain Summit 2026 by Credit Saison and Pacific Meta,” held on February 25, 2026, took place at the Tekko Building as an official affiliated event of “Japan Fintech Week 2026,” hosted by Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA). Under the theme of “Blockchain × Finance,” the summit hosted numerous sessions with more than 50 speakers from financial institutions in Japan and abroad, attracting over 1,200 pre-registrations and approximately 550 on-site attendees.

Building on this strong response, many participants expressed a desire for continued editions. At the same time, market expansion and the progress of domestic regulatory frameworks have heightened the need for dialogue and collaboration in the finance × blockchain space. To seize this momentum and further develop the network and insights established at the inaugural event, we have decided to host the second edition.
