Pacific Meta Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shota Iwasaki; hereinafter “Pacific Meta”) and Credit Saison Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and COO: Katsumi Mizuno) will co-host “Blockchain Summit 2026 by Credit Saison and Pacific Meta” on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

This event will be held as an official partner event of “Japan Fintech Week 2026,” hosted by the Financial Services Agency (FSA).

Background: Blockchain Finance Enters the “Implementation Phase”

In recent years, blockchain technology has moved beyond speculation and experimentation, rapidly expanding into practical financial infrastructure. In particular, the market for the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) is projected to reach approximately $16 trillion by 2030*, driving a global overhaul of funding and investment processes.

Amid this global trend, Japan established a legal framework for stablecoins and digital securities ahead of the rest of the world with the enforcement of the Revised Payment Services Act in 2023. Following this regulatory clarity, major domestic institutions have begun preparations for issuing JPY-pegged stablecoins and security tokens.
